To ensure a balanced legal framework for the data economy and protect the competitiveness of businesses, it is necessary to exclude the B2B sector from the scope of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 or, at least, restore contractual freedom in the B2B sector, and to eliminate the obligation to transfer product data collected by manufacturers to third parties.
